Please meet fundraising bear "Peppi Pilgrim"  I hope you like him, he is a very special little bear that I have created to help raise money for the Pilgrims Hospices. My Husband Nige & our friend Ade have decided this year they will be taking part in the Pilgrims Way Challenge - walking 55km whilst also pushing a wheelbarrow with my big childhood bear 'Sam' inside it for the ride! :) You can read more about the event & their plan by clicking on this link: https://www.justgiving.com/page/thecrustyhikers   I said  I would make a special bear & add 100%  of his adoption fee to their fundraising page. The Pilgrims Hospices staff are truly incredible, helping people facing incurable illness to live well in every moment feeling like a home from home, a relaxed space to be in the time they have left.

Little Peppi Pilgrim measures approx 7" tall when he is standing and 5.5" when sitting - due to his design he does prefer to sit - he is from my newer long body, long arm design!

He has been created from wavy blue tones batik mohair - chosen as it is in the Pilgrims Hospice blue colours, matching blue animal printed mini bear fabric paw pads and inner ears. Fully jointed with cotter pin joints, he is weighted with steel weighting in his body, all his joints move freely making him very poseable. 

He also has a sewn in woven ribbon tag in his back, black glass eyes, tones of rainbow perle cotton thread nose with blue sparkly highlights. Black perle cotton thread smiley mouth & eyebrow detail, he has a needle sculpted face. He wears a wired glittery aqua blue organza ribbon tied in a bow around his neck and also a silvertone scallop shell pendant with rainbow beads too.
