- Thank you for stopping by to meet my latest bigger bear and another festive bear for 2020, introducing "Father Christmas'' He is podgy, with a big smile and beard. He has a pair of fabulous glasses too, I really enjoyed making this one!
He measures approx 13" tall when he is standing and 9.5" when sitting - due to his design he does prefer to sit.
He has been created from:
Medium pile wavy swirly red shulte mohair, red cashmere fabric paw pads & inner ears. Long pile natural wavy mohair for his beard.He is fully jointed with cotter pin joints, has a secure wobble joint for his head & is weighted with steel shot in his arms, feet and his body and filled with poly fibre filling so he feels cuddly, all his joints move freely making him very poseable!
He also has a sewn in woven ribbon tag in his back.
Black glass eyes, fabulous tones of red perle thread nose with sparkly golden highlights. Black perle cotton thread smiley mouth detail, he has a needle sculpted face. He wears a printed raw silk ribbon tied in a bow around his neck in a beautiful emerald green, a fabulous fluffy hand knitted long Christmas hat with a gold jingly bell on the end - the hat is removable. He also has a fab pair of glasses, these are also removable, they have a bead threaded onto their arms which can adjust them to hug his face or take them off. He also has a little jute Santa's sack, containing a toy Rudolph, a faux Christmas cracker and a wooden tree decoration.
