- Thank you for stopping by to meet my latest bigger bear and my first festive bear of 2020 "Grandpa Kringle'' He is podgy, with a big smile and beard. I think his glasses suit him, I really enjoyed making this one!
He measures approx 13" tall when he is standing and 9.5" when sitting - due to his design he does prefer to sit.
He has been created from:
Medium pile wavy brown mohair, extra long pile brown mohair inner ears, brown cashmere fabric paw pads and extra long pile natural string mohair for his beard.He is fully jointed with cotter pin joints, has a secure wobble joint for his head & is weighted with steel shot in his arms, feet and his body and filled with poly fibre filling so he feels cuddly, all his joints move freely making him very poseable!
He also has a sewn in woven ribbon tag in his back.
Black glass eyes, fabulous blue, cream to orange & red perle thread nose with sparkly golden highlights. Brown perle cotton thread smiley mouth detail, he has a needle sculpted face. He wears a printed raw silk ribbon tied in a bow around his neck with a wooden Chrismas tree decoration, a fabulous fluffy hand knitted long Christmas hat with a white jingly bell on the end - it is removable. He also has a fab pair of glasses, these are also removable, they have a bead threaded onto their arms which can adjust them to hug his face or take them off.
