- Thank you for stopping by to meet my latest bigger bear in the Halloween theme "Gwendolwebs'' She is podgy and spooktastic with a big smile. I really enjoyed making this one! I have embroidered silver sparkles as a spiders web across her nose.
She measures approx 13.5" tall when she is standing and 9.5" when sitting - due to her design she does prefer to sit.
She has been created from:
Medium pile wavy mohair hand dyed in lime green tones with splashes of other colours - reds oranges. Hand dyed long green wavy mohair with black tips. Long pile high quality faux fur in a matching green. Charcoal high quality faux fur with longer black streaks. She has Halloween glittery web printed cotton fabric paw pads and inner ears which have been backed / lined.She is fully jointed with cotter pin joints, has a secure wobble joint for her head & is weighted with steel shot in her arms, feet and her body and filled with poly fibre filling so she feels cuddly, all her joints move freely making her very poseable.
She has a sewn in woven ribbon tag in her back.
Black glass eyes, fabulous orange to black perle thread nose with sparkly silver highlights sewn to look like webs. Black perle cotton thread smiley mouth detail, she has a needle sculpted face. She wears a spider web net patterned cloak tied with a narrow orange ribbon. She has a handmade ultra suede witches hat in green, decorated with black and orange perle thread stitching. It has a moon silvertone charm at the tip and hand sewn silver thread web decoration.
