Please meet fundraising mohair Clown "Chuckles" I hope you like him, he is a very special little bear I have created to help raise money for the Pilgrims Hospices. Nige this year is joining our friend Ade on a sponsored walk this September to help raise money for this amazing charity. You can read more about their hike by clicking on this link: www.justgiving/fundraising/thecrustyhikers  So I said I would make a special bear & add £100  of his adoption fee to their fundraising page. The Pilgrims Hospices staff are truly incredible, helping people facing incurable illness to live well in every moment feeling like a home from home, a relaxed space to be. 

Little mohair Clown 'Chuckles' measures approx 6" tall when he is standing and 4" when sitting - due to his design he does prefer to sit!

He has been created from deep blue mohair - chosen as it is in the Pilgrims Hospice blue colours, and aqua blue mohair, matching blue mini bear fabric paw pads and inner ears. Jointed with cotter pin joints & a secure wobble joint for his head, he is weighted with steel weighting in his body, all his joints move freely making him very poseable. 

He also has a sewn in woven ribbon tag in his back, black glass eyes, tones of rainbow perle cotton thread nose. Black perle cotton thread smiley mouth & eyebrow detail, he has a needle sculpted face. He wear a rainbow organza ribbon ruffle around his neck, he has lovely rainbow pom poms sewn onto his body and a handmade suedette cone hat, decorated with pom poms tied to his head with a satin ribbon.
